It was the last full day of classes today and the main floor teachers celebrated by wearing green festive shirts. Tomorrow, December 1, is World AIDS Day. On Friday, our school "Singers" choir performed at a concert to bring awareness to the event. We had a busy day today. (I know...what else is new!) Kaden started the day with a baseline test which measures his brain function. This is used in case he is ever injured in his head and has a concussion. The baseline assessment will be used to determine if he is ready to return to sports. This summer, Kezia's really good friend Taryn moved to BC with her family. Taryn's dad works for WestJet and Taryn was able to fly here this weekend for a visit. Conrad took the kids for eye appointments on Thursday. It was recommended that Kiandra get glasses for seeing at a distance but he said she likely won't need to wear them all the time. November is peace month at our school. Today, being the last school day before Remembrance Day, we had our peace Chapel in the morning.
